The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak has rapidly transitioned into a worldwide pandemic. This development has had serious implications for public institutions and raises particular questions for Biomedical Informatics. Frequent rotations between departments and hospitals make Biomedical Informatics potential vectors for COVID-19. Background, the umbrella of medical education covers a highly structured curriculum in a variety of preclinical and clinical trials of Covid 19. The focus of the Special Issue is on the major aspects of implementation of information science in Medical sciences of Covid- 19 which includes Biomedicine, Biometrics, Health informatics, Clinical Trails,Medical informatics, Clinical informatics, Dental Informatics, Semantics Interoperability, Oncology, Medical devices, Informatics applications in Imaging, Telemedicne/Telehealth, Artificial intelligence in Covid – 19 healthcare. The research articles of the journal are exceptionally high standard in terms of fact and ethical considerations.
